Last October 27 to 29, SMX Convention Center Manila hosted Bazket Manila 2017 and it showcased unique novelty items, local handicrafts and artisanal food and drinks. Most shops offered items as low as 50 pesos which made our Christmas shopping cheaper than expected.

What we loved the most about Bazket Manila is that most of the products there are not found in malls. Some of it are available online BUT buying it there saved us a lot of shipping fee expense and days of waiting for it to arrive. Of course while shopping, there are also the countless free taste from different food stalls that made my gift hunting so much more entertaining.
If you weren't able to make it in the event, we took the liberty of taking pictures of some of the must have items we saw in the event. Most of it are less than 100 pesos allowing us to buy lots of gifts for our 1000 pesos.
And that's not all! We also found other great finds that weren't as cheap but worth every penny.
As for our team, we bought the wood stump for 50 pesos and added an extra 150 pesos for the personalized lettering from groodwood_ph. We also got homemade coco jam that's not only better than the regular jams bought from grocery stores but also cheaper (50 pesos). We were also supposed to buy some handmade soaps but the packs we want were sold out ( 4 packs with 4 pieces of huge soap each for 120 pesos).
What makes the event stand out than other events is that it mostly feature local and handmade products from fellow Filipinos. So as we go around and shop, we also met the owners of each local brand and made new friends. They even gave us huge discounts and offered to deliver our handmade order free of charge!
Overall, the team loved the event and we look forward of next year's Bazket Manila <3
