Study in Australia for FREE; Apply at Cebu Pacific's Cadet Pilot study-now, pay later Program

Cebu Pacific's Cadet Pilot Program aims to sponsor a total of 240 cadets to achieve their dream to be a pilot. The company will be spending a total of 25 billion dollars over a five-year period and have already started in 2018.



Each year, Cebu Pacific will be sponsoring three batches of cadet-pilots that consists of 16 candidates per batch. The program will be 56 weeks long and will be completed in Adelaide, Australia. There is absolutely no fee to get into the program. Tuition and costs required for the pilot cadet program will be financed by Cebu Pacific initially.

Study Now, Pay Later 

As mentioned, all tuition and costs in the program will be financed by Cebu Pacific and will be paid by the pilot cadet when they are employed by the airline. It will be deducted to the cadet's monthly salary at zero interest. They only fee the applicant will need to shoulder is the testing and screening fee when they passed the online pre-screening.

The fee costs AU$425.00 which covers the pilot aptitude and core test skills. As for the Aviator assessment cost, this will be shouldered by Cebu Pacific.

Qualifications to Apply

Interested applicants must be a Filipino with a valid passport, a graduate of any Bachelor's Degree with strong academic performance, particularly in Mathematics, College Physics, and English. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as long as they are passionate and service-oriented.

However, based on the flight training Adelaide FAQ sheet for Cebu Pacific Program, even applicants with a non-technical or Bachelor of Arts degree can apply as long as they have of at least 80% average grade in their subjects related to Physics, Math and English. There is no age limit and even applicants with previously completed applicable units can apply can receive a credit transfer for those units.

How to Apply

As of writing, the submission for Cadet Pilot Batch 8 has just closed yesterday but airline company should be open for applications for the next batch soon. For more information, please visit this link.

When the application window is open again, FTA will review all applicants. If your application has passed the review process, you will be invited for a one full day testing period.

Successful cadets will then be required to complete a medical assessment before the academic selection course. All candidates who complete the academic selection course requirements will travel to Adelaide to start their training.
