Labanan ang Fake News: Pres. Duterte May Libreng App Para sa Bayan 'Daily Du30'

The Presidential Communications Operations Office has just released a new mobile application that shows everything the present administration activities everyday. The app is called 'Daily Du30' and is downloadable in Android and Apple smartphones.

Ang bagong app na ito ay naglalayon na maipakita sa bayan lahat ng ginagawa ng presidente katulad ng press conference, programs, at mga speeches. Ayon kay Palace Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, ang app na ito ay magbibigay ng mga importante at totoong balita sa publiko.

According to Andanar, this new app is in line with the present administration's fight against fake news. "Panahon na para labanan ang fake news" he said.

Bukod sa real-time news, ang app ay mayroon ding emergency call feature kung saan makakahingi ang kahit sino sa kinauukulan kapag may emergency. Ito ang 888 na citizen's hotline at 911 na emergency dispatch.

Ang mabilis na pagbibigay ng balita at serbisyo kapag may emergency ay malaking tulong sa lahat ng tao sa bansa. Maiiwasan din ang hindi pagkakaintindihan ng publiko at administrasyon dahil diretso na itong i-deliver ng administrasyon sa bawat Pilipino.

When the version 2 of the app is released, its developers plan to add a photo features where citizens can include photos which will make it easier for the public to report crimes, complaints or share a feedback. And that's not all, it will also have GPS function so every photo taken will be tagged where it was actually taken. This will prevent people from reporting fake news. The second version of the app is expected to be released within the year.
