Its Official: Pacquiao, Matthysse will Fight on July 15 in Malaysia

Boxing legend Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is officially fighting with Argentinian Lucas Matthysse on July 15, 2018, at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. This was announced by Pacman's Twitter account.

In a post published earlier today, Pacman's Twitter account posted It’s on! Can’t wait to challenge Lucas Matthysse for another world title on July 15 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – July 14 US time #Pacmanisback

Meanwhile, Matthysse, who is handled by Golden Boy Promotions, also announced his fight with Pacquiao through Oscar De La Hoya's Twitter account.

Signed, sealed, and delivered: Proud to officially announce that WBA welterweight world champion
@MatthysseLucas will put his title on the line against @mannypacquiao in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Saturday night July 14 (US time).

39-year-old Pacquiao has a record of 59-7-2, 38 KOs while 35-year-old Matthysse has a record of 39-4, 36 KOs.

There are no announcements yet where the match will happen and when will the tickets be available but it is expected to be announced soon.

Lucas Martin Matthysse is a professional boxer from Argentina. He is known for his aggressive pressure fighting style and incredible punching power. Since January 2018, he has held the WBA (Regular) welterweight title and is the former WBC interim super lightweight titleholder from 2012 to 2013. He is the brother of former boxer Walter Matthysse.
