Japan Looking for Pinoy Workers; Earn Up to 55K for an 8-Hour Shift Job

For Pinoys wishing to work in Japan, this is your chance as they are now in need of professional workers. The minimum salary is 40,000 pesos that can go up to 55,000 Pesos for a housekeeper or domestic helper job. Unlike in other countries, the job only requires an 8-hour shift and will provide overtime pay when housekeepers need to work for additional hours.

Moreover, Pinoys hired for the job need can live on their own in Japan rather than staying with them like some OFWs in other countries. In this way, Filipinos hired will have time for themselves and to relax after the work. And should they be required to work more than eight hours, proper compensation will be given by their company.

In the report published by GMA News Online, The senior manage of Nichii Gakkan Co. LTD, Ritsuko Ito, says they are encouraging Filipinos to apply for the job vacancy as they know the Pinoy's "exceptional motivation to work".

According to the deputy administrator of Philippine Overseas Employment Administration or POEA, Jocelyn Sanchez, this is a good opportunity and alternative for aspiring OFWs to find work aside from applying for Middle Eastern jobs available today. Even experienced OFW with housekeeping experience in Middle Eastern countries are encouraged to apply.

Qualified applicants will have to undergo 2 months of training to learn Japanese culture, language and to familiarize themselves how to properly clean a typical Japanese house. Applicants will also learn how to prepare and cook traditional Japanese food.

From the Philippines, Japan is only less than 5 hours of air travel. Fares to and from the country can cost as little as 4,000 pesos roundtrip fare depending on the airport and when booking on Piso sale. This means that Filipinos can easily go back and forth the country when needed or during the weekends during the holiday season.
