FREE ADMISSION to Museums and Galleries in Metro Manila this October

This October, many museums and galleries are offering free admission to all their visitors. As of today, several galleries and museums have already announced their free admission and it includes the following:



National Museum of Natural History

Located at Teodoro F. Valencia Circle in Ermita, Manila. They are open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM every Tuesday to Sunday.

It's one of the best museums in the Philippines. It includes the skeletons of Lolong, the largest crocodile in captivity, several taxidermied specimens,  botanical illustrations, mini mangrove forests, and beach recreations and so much more.

National Museum of Anthropology

Located in Padre Burgos Avenue in Ermita Manila. They are open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM every Tuesday to Sunday. For inquiries, call 528 4912.

It contains a number of important artifacts including a big ethnographic collection.

Museo ng Muntinlupa

Situated in Tunasan, Muntinlupa in Manila. They are open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM every Tuesday to Sunday. For inquiries, visit their Facebook page www.facebook.com/Museo.ng.Munti.

It features a fusion of history and culture of the city, including an interactive gallery, a research center and so much more.

National Planetarium

Situated in Rizal Park, Padre Burgos Avenue in Ermita, Manila. For inquiries, call 527 7889. They are open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

It features shows and exhibitions about the Philippine astronomical beliefs, myths, a solar system diorama representations, and constellations.

National Museum of Fine Arts

Also located in Padre Burgos Drive in Rizal Park. They are open from 10 AM to 5 PM.  For any inquiries, call 527 12 15.

Formerly called as National Art Gallery, this museum houses sculptures and paintings made by classic Filipino artists including Guillermo Tolentino, Juan Luna, and Felix Hidalgo.
