Pinoys Can Now Get FREE Russian Visa and Visit Saint Petersburg and Leningrad; No Documents Required

Starting on the 1st of October, Filipinos can already apply for a Russian e-visa for FREE to visit Saint Petersburg and Leningrad region for 8 days. Upon application, the e-visa requires no personal appearance and will be issued within just 4 days.



Applying for a Russian visa for Philippine Passport holders

Applying for a Russian visa for Filipinos is not only free but also requires no documents to confirm the tourist's visit. The processing time is only 4 days including weekends and bank holidays. Once the e-visa is issued, the Filipino tourist will have 8 days to tour Leningrad and Saint Petersburg through naval, air, automobile, and even pedestrian checkpoint. The only entry point not allowed is by rail transport.

Each e-visa is valid for 30 days from date of issuance so travelers must schedule their visit within those time. It's also important to remember that the 8-day visa does not mean the traveler can stay for the whole 192 hours in the country. The time starts exactly the time from you passed immigration.

How to apply for a Russian e-visa

The process of application starts with filling the online application form on their website. After 4 days, you will receive a notification that your visa is ready via logging in to their website and email. Travelers should then print out the notification or download it via their mobile device. All that's left to do is show the print out on your day of travel and you're good to go.
